Roger’s Chocolates
Exterior colours for the Roger’s Chocolates building
This project was to determine, analyse and match the exterior colours for this heritage Designated and National Historic Site commercial building in Victoria. The building was constructed in 1903, and the interior remodelled in 1917 for Roger’s Chocolates. The interior remains essentially unchanged since that time.
The exterior colours were matched to modern paint colours, which were to give the look of a brick building with stone-grey trimmings. The lettering had gold-leaf applied, which attracts attention to the sign in a long-lasting and appropriate material.
