This 1890 house was planned to be used for a Bed & Breakfast. The original 1890 colours of mustard and battleship grey were deemed too drab for such a use, so a fresher, but historically appropriate scheme of pale yellow, rich brown and dark green offset with brick colour was applied. Before the B&B sign went up people were stopping and asking to rent rooms based on the appearance of the house.
