AFTER: The Drawing Room of this 1865 Historic Site as restored, using a great deal of information still intact and found onsite. The original wallpaper design was reprinted, the curtains hung from the original location of the curtain rod and other appropriate furnishings, using an 1879 Auction List from the house, were sourced. These included the piano, corner whatnot, bookcase, mirror and centre table. An 1860’s reproduction Brussels carpet, coordinating with the original colours of the room was chosen to complete the room.
