BEFORE: The former Drawing Room of an 1880’s Italianate house. Work by previous owners without permits had seriously endangered the structural integrity of the house. The large opening had been cut through a bearing wall with no support provided for the rooms above. Mouldings and fireplaces had been removed and thrown away.
